After finishing high school in the mid-nineties at LCI downtown Ottawa, where she played the Cello for their Orchestra, Louise couldn't wait to head west. She packed her horses into her two-horse trailer and set off. A big part of the dream was to get to SM as quickly as possible.   Once there, along with finishing top ten in the 4'6" (1.40M) amateur division, she was awarded the Saddle of Honor in recognition of the most outstanding horses with respect to health, care and condition. Louise's ability to manage her horses in a way that brings out the best in them has only gotten better and is evident when you see them.
